DANWISE

Your plans for the 8th of March ;)

Updated: Aug 6

Today, we celebrate International Women’s Day and also DANWISE’s three-year anniversary since the official launch. It is therefore also a great day to celebrate some of DANWISE’s achievements. Our DANWISE prize winners were notified that they won today and we can’t wait to share them with you soon. We hope that you are enjoying the webinars, conferences, and marches organized around this great day and we want to share some tips from ALT with you:

Join Copenhagen Business School for International Women’s Day 2022

The CBS Diversity & Difference Platform is hosting a debate on how unconscious biases affect processes in organizations. They invite you for an afternoon with local and international researchers and a panel of organizational actors from the public and private sectors.

KVINFO will hold a campaign day party at VEGA in Copenhagen. The evening will include inspiring speeches and great music. The event will be accompanied this year by TV host Sofie Linde, gender equality minister Trine Bramsen, debater Emma Holten, poet Sara Rahmeh, musician ANGÅENDE MIG and rapper YUKKA. Prime Minister Mette Frederikensen will also take the stage at VEGA to give a speech. This year's host is comedian, writer and debater Sanne Søndergaard.

The Aarhus Museum KØN and local organizations invite you to a host of exciting events around the city throughout the day on 8 March. The day includes talks, workshops, exhibitions, and entertainment - all under the theme REVOLUTION. Meet, for example, Kirstine Holst, a campaigner for the Consent Act, debate with female politicians, or eat food from Send More Spices. You can take part in creative workshops, visit an exhibition, hear presentations from immigrant women, or get your pulse racing in an equal pay debate.
